Congratulations to the U8 Academy girls for their 1st place finish in the Tony Glavin Soccer Classic!!!  It was a very exciting weekend!

Summer plans: We will continue to have practices and friendly matches with some of the local teams.  There are also numerous 3v3 tournaments.  If anyone wants to play in anything you hear about, let us know.  I love playing games!

We will also try to organize some outings to the St. Louis Lions games this summer where the girls can see their Coach Tim and Tony Glavin on the sidelines for the Lions.  I believe the kids get in free and everyone else is $5.  You can also do some volunteering at the games and get good parking and free admission.  The Lions level of play is great for the kids to see up close, and we rely on volunteers to help during game days.

 Academy Girls camp will be the week of June 22 for most of the girls.  If you have not signed up, please do so if you can come.  There is not a cost for half day for Academy players.
