2002 Player signs with CMU
Grace Faherty, a 2002 Girls team player, has chosen and signed with Central Methodist University. She has played her entire youth career with the TGSC/TG Lions Academy Club. She started in our Dr. Pepper Development Program and moved to our club teams. This summer it would be nice to see Grace in a Lions uniform with our WPSL Team :)
She attended Fort Zumwalt South High School and during the school's signing day April 14, 2021 she made it official. She signed the papers with Coach Geoff, Coach Tony and her family by her side. Her dad, Coach Bill Faherty is our longest tenured coach (2004) and has been a part of our club since he signed up his son, Will, to play. Grace has 2 more brothers named Ben and Luke who have been or currently play with the club. That means all four of the siblings have trained, played, competed and grown up with our club. #ourclubisfamily
She will not only play soccer at CMU she will also study BS in Nursing. Congratulations, Grace!
From a Lion to an Eagle, be proud! #TakeFlight
We want to take this opportunity to say "Thanks coaches for supporting Grace and molding her into the wonderful player and person she has become! Appreciate you all coming out"
